My name is Alyssa (but most people call me Swell, which is where the slogan came from) I am a college student with a passion for baking. For as long as I can remember, everything I've done has been a way for me to showcase my creativity in some way. Within the past few years I've realized this new way is with baking! It started as a project in High School and has quickly become not just a hobby but an addiction. I love the therapeutic feeling it gives but even more than that, I will never stop loving people's reaction after biting into a delicious cupcake I made just for them. 

During the Summer of 2012, I worked at a bakery, "Sweet Indulgences" in New Jersey. I got to help not just in the front but in the kitchen baking and decorating cupcakes and cakes. It was an experience I'll never forget and one that made me believe this is exactly what I want to do. Other than that, I am self taught but already know so much. 

I began this site because I have a dream of one day incorporating my love for baking into a career. I have begun small with orders from friends, neighbors, and co-workers but I want to expand! All the pictures on this site is everything I have made, from scratch, by myself. I am located on Long Island so please contact me if you would like to order anything! I am not limited and will ALWAYS put 100% into anything I make!!
